Sounds v interesting. Both BC & Claire Foy have come a long way since they last worked together on Wreckers. Lots of new BC projects to look forward to.

I watched Flowers on Netflix and loved it! Will Sharpe looked familiar to me but I just couldn’t place him. I looked him up on IMDB and discovered that he was the soldier who gave Sherlock and John the tour of Baskerville in the Hounds of Baskerville. He’s so talented and has accomplished so much, especially for someone so young! I checked but it seems it's not on Netflix here! Such a shame! I read a few reviews and it was very acclaimed. It's compared to Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Japanese comedies and even the harrowing horror film Hereditary! It sounds crazy! Strangely, I remember fans not being happy with this project when it was originally mentioned. I don't remember exactly why? Maybe because it's a bio but I remember the character was compared with Sherlock, too. Anyway, Sherlock didn't suffered of schizophrenia and apparently the man was slightly naive and was easily duped. Also I had the idea that he was asexual or at least that he never married because the comparison but clearly it wasn't the case! He actually doesn't sound like Sherlock at all! I'm guessing Andrea Riseborough will play one of his sisters. The summary said the wife was much older than him. That clearly isn't the case with BC and CF! EDITED Someone posted a Sherlock screencap He is very young and handsome!

It’s too bad that Netflix everywhere isn’t showing Flowers. I just checked, and it’s still showing here. It was so interesting to watch because it was really weird, but in a good way. The story deals with an eccentric family, and in S2 it focuses more on mental illness. I really liked that it wasn’t like anything I’d ever seen before! Will Sharpe has a supporting but crucial role, and I didn’t know until I looked him up that he also wrote it!
If he’s involved in writing this new movie, we should expect something unusual!

I am going to watch this next. It was already in my Netflix queue. We are just finishing up Big Little Lies and True Detective (both of which are incredible) on Kodi.

I read Louis Wain’s Wikipedia page, and his wife was 10 years older than he was. They got married when he was 23 and she died three years later. Claire Foy is the right age for the part, but she’s 10 years younger than Benedict (I think). Maybe they’re going to have a different actor play young Wain and Benedict will play him in his later years. Or maybe they’ll focus on those early years they spent together (when he got into the whole cat thing) and try to pass Benedict off as a 20-something. Wain did live until his late 70s, so either way we can probably expect lots of special effects makeup being used!

Louis Wain’s first cat was named Peter. I think that’s hilarious!

Maybe they’ll just use creative license and not explain the age difference thing. I wouldn’t mind. It seems like a small issue to me, tbh.
