He does look a bit like Don Ramón.

He does! This comment is the one I thought it was the funniest! They are of course claiming this is a new Doctor Strange image. That's why they mention alternative dimensions!

I hadn’t realized right away that they’re painting a Garland on the screen! This makes me think that the movie is going to be breaking the 4th wall a bit, perhaps, or at the least, have an interesting, creative viewpoint told in an unusual way. I really can’t wait for this. It looks wonderful! I hadn’t looked at it closely, but you’re right. They appear to be painting on a piece of glass, so they’re showing the scene as if it’s from the painting’s point of view.

It kind of looks like a Louis Wain print but with people instead of cats!
Actually I made an ironic comment the other day when one of the producers behind this told to that author that he will be surprised by the film when he made also an ironic comment about how his graphic novel about Wain life was very different (suggested darker) compared to what the film seemed to be. He posted an image of his work beside one of the movie stills and it looked great and cool but very far away of Wain style. It easily could had been taken from an Edward Allan Poe bio! Maybe that's not the case with the rest of the book but I would think that a fair Louis Wain movie should be colorful. Tragic, yes. Thematically dark, please! But visually it should be full of color! Not a homage to Tim Burton!
Anyway, I love those comments by Sharpe. It sounds like an interesting film and I'm glad he is say it's not a conventional bio but something more eccentric.
