I thought that Blue Bunny was a made-up ice cream company when I first watched it. We don’t have that brand here, so I’d never heard of it.

Slightly OT but I read a review today for the Selena Gomez episode because I saw it in the Google search BC’s results. The critic said that BC episode was one of the later season episodes highlights meanwhile was very negative about the Gómez one but they linked this sketch and maybe I’m very simple but I found it funny! Maybe because I have watched the original Japanese show on Netflix and because I kinda identify with the boyfriend trying to buy something that, for whatever reason, can’t be just one thing and has so many versions with slightly different names! Lol youtu.be/VhGTtWsW9F8The Depp-Amber trial sketch was awful, tho.!

I haven't watched the whole thing but I agreed with the feeling. Best of the bunch and they, obviously, have a lot of nice words about BC.

Davis is including BC in his predictions (not the main contenders, tho.) but that, of course, doesn't mean too much.
I checked if he was really submitted by the SNL people which would be great, but another Davis article said SNL actually does not announce they submits so he actually doesn't know for sure. He mentions BC deserves to be submitted, alongside others, but the piece is in general about how they MUST submit only females because they barely have female hosts!
There were a polemic a few days ago because Marvel didn't submitted BC for his voice work for the What If... series even when he was one of the very few Marvel actors whose work was well received by critics and his episode was the one submitted for best episode. They submitted the wonderful Jeffrey Wright and other two options that sound more political correct than anything else: I'm sure one of them will be nominated mainly because his unfair untimely death so probably it was at the end of the day a good choice for awards. The third person, is obviously female. I wonder why only three but, following Davis logic, they probably just wanted to add a woman even when I remember there were some negative criticism to her work in the series. The biggest unfair thing IMHO is how they ignored the voice work by actual professionals and went only for the celebrities! Again, the reviews were mostly about how there were a HUGE difference between actual professionals and the Marvel stars with, yeah, BC being one of the exception.
Anyway, the Emmy voters are very lazy and, since they changed the rules, they don't need/don't watch all the contenders so, again, they probably would go for famous names or sentimentalism. So who cares? Still, it was nice when BC was submitted by The Simpsons. That's a cartoon made by people specialized on voice work so they surely are better deciding which celebrities were good and who weren't!

I finally saw all of this, and BC was so funny! I realized that the singing sketches were my favorites: the Chuck E Cheese 80's band (was he lip synching that falsetto?) and especially the prison gang sketch! "Snitchin' to the warden" LOL
Somebody else didn't get the Mother's Day sketch...are those wooden signs popular suburban decorating, in other countries? In the US they are a typical "basic" Mom home decor item, usually saying something like "Live Laugh Love." Often they mention wine, thus all the slightly over-the-top mentions about Mom drinking. My neighbor has one on her porch which reads "Welcome to the shit show, I hope you brought alcohol."

Also, so sad to see their 1973 shirts on the day that Roe v. Wade was overturned.

Anything with him in it is worth watching over and over! I always have to see things at least a second time so that I don’t feel so nervous for him and can just relax and enjoy the performance. There were so many gems - the prison chain gang song, the Chuck E Cheese song, the toilet ad - it was all so good!
