Well, some Tennet fans are similar to some Sherlock fans. In other words, with the Tumblr mentality of my fave vs. your fave.
Good answer by Gaiman! He totally used his name in a BIG WAY to promote his series even when his role was just a cameo so he had the obligation of defending from this childs! 😉
