They’re using a photo of Benedict in their tweet, so maybe he’ll be there?

I know someone who works at the Roundhouse (although she is gravely ill at this time so she is off on medical furlough) and she told me just before covid struck that BC had been very much involved with the arrangements to do a Letters Live show at the Roundhouse but then it was canceled because of the original March lockdowns in 2020. She even got to meet him in person when he was sitting down with the owner of the venue (she worked in the accounting department before she got sick).
Before it was canceled she was sooooo excited that the show was scheduled to be at the Roundhouse! But now unfortunately she is almost completely bedridden because of her cancer, so I doubt she will be able to attend.😢
So I'm pretty sure BC will be there. The Roundhouse is pretty close (relatively speaking) to where the Cumberbatches live and BC has been spotted there before (it's a very well known venue for all types of musical/ creative performances).

Lovely news re The Roundhouse performance but I’m so sorry to hear about your friend RP. Is there no hope of recovery for her? Such a cruel illness.

Although there has been a slight improvement just the other day (her three tumors have shown some signs of reducing) she is so weak from them she can't walk. It's just depressing thinking about how sick she is - she was so vital and loving!
She's the second person since last year in my life that has been struck down by a very rapid cancer. Just last week Dan and I learned that his childhood friend, who he reconnected with five years ago, died from cancer. A year ago he wasn't even ill. We talked to him on the phone a couple of days before he passed away. I still can't believe he's gone!

It’s pretty scary when deaths seem to come in waves. In the first months of 2005, there was a death connected to someone in my life every 2-3 weeks. I was afraid to get out of bed in the morning because I never knew who would be next. Among them: a former co-worker who had become a very close friend (her cancer had been misdiagnosed for years because it was very rare in women her age), and my uncle (who we thought had recovered from his heart surgery). When it was announced that the pope had died, we all agreed that the 2005 wave of deaths was finally over.
