I am just so pleased about this! I mean being nominated is wonderful enough, but to actually win is the cherry on top!
He seems reeeeeeally pleased about it.
So much hard work and collaboration and time and effort! It's great that both the series AND BC got the gongs!
It probably will do a lot for SunnyMarch too for future projects.
By Adam Ackland's comments it sounds like something is in the works fairly soon?
What a great night!

Well, that was a surprise! I thought that Hugh Grant and the Jeremy Thorpe scandal would take the honours.
But the whole team will be SO incredibly delighted and proud to have had their production so acknowledged. I doubt they thought it would happen, either, but what a great result!
Kudos to all! So pleased!
And I'm wondering what Adam A was referring to as well.

Probably a new Sunny March project but I remember sometime ago a Showtime executive said they were negotiating something with Patrick Melrose team. I hope not a second season because the series is perfect as it is and there aren't more books to adapt!

I'm pretty sure Edward St Aubyn did say that there night well be another book eventually. But I don't think there's any chance they'd seriously consider another series. But the PM production was pretty impressive, remarkably so for a relatively new production company with little experience and no track record to speak of. That will have been noticed, even without the awards now. A short track record but a very impressive one. I'm not at all surprised that the team who made it, and their next projects, will be taken that much more seriously as a result and that companies like Showtime will be even more keen to work with them. The question re Adam A's comment is whether the news will really be about something new or whether it will be about the further development of something that's already been announced.

I’ve been thinking about the comment he made about not being a good dancer and how people have filmed him dancing and put it online. Then I remembered that we did that very thing! Ok, we aren’t the ones who filmed him dancing at the Met Gala after-party, and we didn’t put the video online - but I guess we did poke fun at it. I feel kind of bad now! Do you suppose he was here reading our comments?? (I sound paranoid now! Ha!)
(If you’re reading this, Benedict, I think you’re a good dancer!)

I think the AA mention about something coming up soon will be another SunnyMarch project... maybe The End We Start From? We know Sophie was working on it already and is involved in a Producer level. Or maybe it is something like How to Stop Time? Or Rogue Male? Fingers crossed for all of the above!😊😊😊

Omg somebody hold me back. I’m dying to go dish some shit on Gator, lol. Still think his career’s in freefall? Still think his family doesn’t exist? FUCK YOU HE WON A BAFTA! 💪🏼💪🏼 Lol! Just invite ME along if you do go! The Haters spread so much shit about how his career was in a DEATH SPIRAL and how Sophie and Ben hate to touch each other - I hope they choked on all the Benophie moments tonight!

Oh, they’ll interpret it in some hateful way, I’m sure. Their vileness knows no depths.
Hey, how much do you think his fee just went up? $5 mil? How much loft does a BAFTA give your asking price?
