It was nominated for Director - Toby Haynes - not for editing.

Also, OT Louis Wain's director Will Sharpe is nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for Giri/Haji. Well deserved! Yes, he was really good.
The lead actor was also nominated.

His character wasn't so showy as Sharpe's but I think he was also very good!
About Brexit director nomination. Good for Toby Haynes although interesting enough I think he was the one who did the most "polemic" decisions. I mean it's true BC humanized his character. He is a talented actor and that's what he does but I don't think the Sherlock references were in his performance but in the way some scenes were filmed. There were also some references to that disturbing Black Mirror episode with Rory Kinnear in his own scenes but very few people noticed them! There were a pair of comments on Twitter but nothing in the formal reviews.

Prudence, it’s terrifying but really good. The acting is, of course, superb, and Rory Kinnear is brilliant as the Honest Man caught up in a failed system. Ben’s hair cannot be missed, lol, and his acting is amazing, as always. Go for it! 😃👍🏼

I can "ditto" everything QZ said about why you should be motivated to watch Brexit:An Uncivil War. Not only is the acting superb, but the writing is crisp and jabs sharply when it should and subtle enough to allow BC (and all the fine cast) to add to their characters by inflection and tonality. Sure it's scary stuff, but that is what true drama is made of!

I forgot it was nominated. It was ages ago! Such a shame it lost, I would have liked to see the silly reactions... from both, the extreme right and extreme left! LOL
