Magda hasn’t posted in ages. I know she had trouble with her laptop but that was back in June. I do hope she hasn’t left. I know none of us actually know each other in real life but when you’ve been interacting with someone on a regular basis online you do feel you have some sort of connection so it’s a shock when they just disappear. You can’t help wondering if they’re ok.
So Magda if you’re reading this and just don’t want to post on the Board anymore that’s fine but at least let us know you’re ok. I miss you and I’m sure all the other “regulars” do too and wouldn’t like to think you were sick or anything.

Hello, ellie and sgev1977 ! I'm still here. But I'm still without a laptop, my phone also died. I am strangely a bit more relaxed without internet so I'm postponing the purchase of something. Haha. It helps that at one of my works they put new pc's so for my work online I have where to do it. Usually I don't remember the password so I just look at the forum once in a while. I know I can post as a guest but I am usually at work and I don't want to enter from there. I changed the password again and I hope I'll remember it this time. Also, June, July and part of August are very busy for me. We have special tests and exams (June/July) (here is the middle of the school/college year) and it takes time to prepare everything, correct, grade and then we have special reunions (August) with the other teachers which finished last Friday. I missed you too but I look at the forum so for me its easier. Thank you, sgev1977 for all the work and ellie I read (at least part) about your trip to Canada. Hugs to everybody. |

There seem to be fewer posters these days. I often wonder where everybody went. Remember GJ Schear from IMDb? She posted constantly about BC! Are lots of people on twitter or tumblr instead?

It happens with a lot of forums, I think. I also think, in part, a lot of participants might have been more oriented to his work in Sherlock and once that ended their interest became less intense, so they drifted away from the discussions.

I’ve ended up becoming good friends with GJ in real life. She lives quite near me. She’s written some very good and quite successful novels based on 19C Sherlock Holmes and has just completed her first original character novel. She never really took to any other forum after IMDB shut. She’s still very much a BC fan though. |
