Amazon Canada isn’t listing it - of course!

I was browsing through Netflix, and in the Coming Soon section, they have The Current War listed. I don’t know if it’s only here or if it’s everywhere.

I really like that movie. I know others are ho-hum about it, but it has layers, the acting is brilliant (a great role for Michael Shannon), the period stuff is right on, and poor Ben manages to play a real asshole with deep understanding (again). Nicholas Hought is particularly wonderful as Tesla. “No, I will not leave your slanted room.” Perfect. 😂

It started on Netflix today, so I watched it even though I have it on dvd. It was like watching it for the first time because I had forgotten a lot of it.
It was nice to see that there was no mention whatsoever in the credits of that awful Harvey Weinstein or his production company.

Perhaps the Netflix's version is the director's cut and not the version you had watched before?

I think you’re right! After watching it tonight, I took out my DVD and saw that it is the director’s cut - but I don’t think I ever actually watched it. I bought it and then placed it with my Cumberbatch collection of DVDs.
