Haha! The jokes about editing it are superb. 😂

Looks like Proust’s 22 volume “Le recherche du temps perdu” may finally have a rival.

Very excited for this one. Would love to translate it into German.

Does a video or transcript of the reading exist anywhere?

Someone posted this a couple of days ago. I haven’t checked to see if it’s accurate:

You know what is curious? I mailed Benedict's agent stating that I would love to know when and where the book will be published since I wished to apply for the translation. Five minutes later I got this answer:
Dear Ms ...
I can confirm Benedict is not currently writing a book.
Best wishes
My first thought was that they might wish to keep it still secret but what about the reading and the podcast? Quite strange if you ask me.

Perhaps he has had a change of heart, or decided to wait until later to finish it.

TBH that podcast was slightly suspicious. The woman didn't seemed sure if he was actually writing a book! Also she is the only person reporting it. I would guess there would be more journalists interested in him writing a book!
It would be interesting to Google the text just to see if it already exists on paper or if it's something new!
EDITED, I googled a sentence of the transcript and it doesn't seem to be anything!
Another theory: maybe he wrote the speech and joked about being part of a book!

I don’t know where he would find the time to write a book.
