So I've just started reading this, and BC's character wears a blue chambray shirt every day! Bwahahahaha!
Also, only gets a haircut a couple of times a year, so good news for those missing his long hair. The bad news: he also only bathes a few times a year.

I just hope the baths are filmed and end up in the movie!
What am I saying?? Of course they’ll show him bathing! It’s probably written into his contract that he has to be in water in every role.

Bathing in the river. Sundappled, sparkling, BC rises out of the water like a Sports Illustrated model, snapping his long hair out of his eyes with a toss of his head, the water sluicing off his torso in SLO MO...

He also will need a tan... seriously! I haven't read the book but if he is a cowboy he will need to look like someone who enjoys being outside in a hot weather and not like a posh Londoner! My book arrives until Monday! But talking about the book, this video recommendation is nice:

This guy doesn’t say much about the book in his YouTube review, other than strongly recommending reading it. One of the YouTube comments:

He does not sound glamorous AT ALL. The baths occur in a deep hole in the creek. LOL
Yes, he will need a tan, no manicure for about 6 months (Phil takes pride in never wearing work gloves like the other ranch workers) and some muscles first. He sounds very tough and leathery.
I wonder if they will film in Canada?

The Canadian producer said he already is searching for locations in New Zealand.
Rotten Tomatoes also said it sounded like Legends of the Fall! It's funny because the book reviews mention East of Eden and Brokeback Mountain! They aren nothing like Legends of the Fall! I guess they read brothers and can't imagine something older than a 90s Brad Pitt movie! The homosexuality seems to be revealed on the last pages and it's not mentioned on the film summaries so... Legends of the Fall!

Well, I just looked it up on Amazon, and the book shows up under the filter “Books > Gay & Lesbian > Literature & Fiction”, so someone out there is aware of the homosexuality.
