I was tempted to post this on the "Angelyne" thread. You know because the "eccentric" behind the scenes photos of the actors! Of course, the movie could be great. Ridley Scott is a wonderful director but the characterization is, well...interesting!

They all look awful, especially Damon. He looks like a very strange man in his 60's. What did they do to his head?
Adam Driver's armor looks made with stainless steel.
I found funny that there are comments on twitter saying they don't get AD's appeal and many comparing it with BC's.

I actually think Adam Driver is the one who looks remotely good there! The other two look horrible!
They compare BC to anyone who isn't "traditionally" handsome. In both cases, it's the charisma and talent what make them interesting, they are much more than just a boring pretty face.
It seems we are having set photos of everything except TPotD! They are indeed in middle of anywhere! Anyway, if there are some leaks or official stuff, I hope actors look better in their costumes than the guys above!

My 8 year old has a crush on AD, after seeing his Star Wars movies. When he sees a picture of AD he runs over, says "there's that handsome face!" and kisses him. I thought it was interesting that even a little kid responds to charisma. AD has a lot of magnetism in the role (I haven't seen him in other things), but I wouldn't have described him as handsome, and I would have guessed that a child would notice more obvious good looks instead. My son doesn't run over and kiss any of the Marvel 'Chris' actors, for example.

The comparisons to Benedict were really irritating to me when I first read them. They look nothing alike at all.
On twitter, there were arguments about whether or not AD was good-looking, with many saying they didn’t see his appeal. Then someone said that the same thing happened with Benedict - that he’s not good-looking either, but fans thought he was because they liked him in Sherlock. And I guess with AD it’s a Star Wars thing.
After all this time, I don’t see Benedict’s looks as unusual anymore. I just see beauty. But AD’s face is unusual because he has such odd proportions and that’s all I think when I see him. But I’m sure he’s a very nice person and talented in whatever he does, even if I don’t think he’s good-looking.

I've never thought of BC as traditionally handsome. I can see the comparison between him and AD. Both have unconventional faces and bundles of talent and charisma.
To me their physiques are interesting - not just "hunky" or "pretty boy" in appearance. But that is what I find attractive anyway... someone who is interesting, not just an "ideal" idea of beauty.
I didn't even know AD was in Star Wars! But then I only watched the first movie, way back when, and it didn't appeal to me so I never watched any of the others. Never understood the fascination with Star Wars but I do respect the phenomenon.

It’s interesting to see fan drawings of AD posted online. They almost always fix the problem of his facial features being “off”, so the drawings make him look much more handsome. A lot of drawings of Benedict get his eyes wrong, putting them too close together.
Obviously, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! There was an article last week saying that, scientifically, Robert Pattinson had a perfect face (or something like that). I spent a while looking at his picture and found so many unappealing features - like almost nonexistent lips.

In both cases, it's the charisma and talent what make them interesting, they are much more than just a boring pretty face. I agree, Driver is the best of the three but he looks like a vampire which gives me hope, since he is one/the "it" celebrity at this moment, that he is going to be offered Dracula's role the one BC is "in talks". Go, Driver! The "it" celebrity in internet, I guess, because I saw articles from some magazines which only posted pictures from Damon and Affleck. It's not easy to evaluate.
I've never thought of BC as traditionally handsome. I can see the comparison between him and AD. Both have unconventional faces and bundles of talent and charisma. I agree though I think BC can look super pretty and Adam Driver always looks more or less the same. I understand your son. In spite of what I previously said, I found Adam Driver kind of attractive and the only Chris I think is handsome is Hemsworth, I like him, he's funny, but I'm not interested in him. I watched Driver in Silence (where he was kind of meh, I liked the movie), TFA (which I think it was lame, Driver over the top villain included), While we're Young (where I really liked him, I hated his character, the movie is by Baumbach and once again about cinema/theatre people, I don't share his views), Midnight Special (I didn't like the movie and he didn't left a good impression because I don't remember what he did), Blackkklansman ( where he was good) and Marriage Story (I think the movie is super overrated including Driver, and my perception/opinion of the movie might have affected my opinion of his acting).

He plays the new villain, Darth Vader's grandson. I think he looks a bit Sherlock-ish in the role: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlT-sJLfCPU&t=16sThe comments are hilarious: I saw an article that described his looks as 'a child's drawing of a man come to life.'
