Video on demand. I don't know where but it usually means streaming services in which you can pay to see the film. I don't think they will go directly to Netflix. Maybe Amazon. We will see.

Here in Latin America, Amazon has a VOD service apart of their usual catalogue. I guess it's possible they upload it there.

I has assumed that movies that were supposed to be released in theatres would be available to rent or buy through those theatres. I just checked Cineplex, and they have lots of newly “released” movies there to rent/buy.

Yes, the other service I use to rent recent movies here is indeed by a local movie theater. Those kind of sites are the ones they surely will use.

So if Amazon Prime is going to show it would they start listing it soon? Because I know sometimes even though a movie isn't on the steaming service outright, you can "rent" it for a few bucks ($5-$7) for the night. We did it for Bombshell - got to see it for $5! So if this was going to happen with The Mauritanian that would be great!
