For those fluent in Greek.
The translation from twitter says: 2021 will be the year of Tahar Rahim: Kevin MacDonald's "The Mauritanian" is capable of bringing him to the Oscars, "The Serpent" will make him the scariest man on television.
There are many pictures from Tahar. From what I read The Serpent is not that good.
From the magazine and using google translate: Kevin MacDonald's "The Mauritanian" is back in prison like "A Prophet", but this time at Guantanamo in the role of Mohamed Old Salahi, who was arrested on suspicion of 9/11 and spent 14 years in prison without never be charged. He says that Hollywood approached him many times to play the role of a terrorist in one or the other big blockbuster and he refused again and again. "But this was a version of a terrorist that I could impersonate as what he shows is the man and not the cliché."

So does this mean they might replay the film event that Variety ran the other day?

A bit off topic . . . Silence of the Lambs isn’t a favourite of mine. Many years ago, I gave my father a Movie Channel subscription (it was a thing back then) for Christmas. One day, I was home alone, reading the paper, and I decided to put on Silence of the Lambs, which was just starting. I thought I’d just have it playing in the background while I was reading. When the movie ended, I saw that I never reached page 2 of the newspaper. Ha! Sure, I couldn’t take my eyes away, but it’s not a movie I’ve ever wanted to see again.
When I was in Italy, my cousin’s wife told me that she wasn’t permitted to see SOTL when it played in theatres because she was pregnant! She was so upset that she had to wait until it was out on video, because she loved scary movies. Do they do that here - stop pregnant women from seeing scary stuff in theatres?
