I love her Detective stories. I’m a bit of a old fashioned murder mystery nut. I haven’t read any of her historical novels though.

You should try her other novels, they are romantic and witty. Yes, you know what's coming, but the journey is so much fun.😁

Yes, they are far better than your usual Regency Romance. I read quite a few of her novels once, but then I tired of Regency Romance, I guess.

Have you ever had one of those days when something just seems to be trying to tell you somebody?

My dad was in hospital in February/March which was a pretty intensely unhappy time and Heyer was what kept me afloat. I read pretty much all of her regency novels and then some. My favourite is Black Sheep - absurdly funny and the protagonist is not one of those pink tree-top tonish super tulips I also love Frederica, The Grand Sophy, These Old Shades, Devil's Cub, The Talisman Ring, Faro's Daughter, Arabella, Bath Tangle, Sylvester, Lady of Quality and very much Venetia. A bit so-so about the rest with one exception: I do hate Regency Buck with a passion
