I read two reviews of the book and it sounds very similar to the other SunnyMarch's project: The End we Start From.
Maybe they could do some kind of cinematic anthology about apocalyptical films starred by women about climate change!

I read a rather in depth review of the book and I didn't find too many parallels between it and Megan Hunter's book. Other than very broad genre aspects they seem to have very different styles and approaches. While both sound interesting for sure, I think this one lends itself much more easily to be made into a film than the other one. It seems to have a very structured outer story that could be much more cinematic. Hunter's book is much more poetic and internal. I hope both see fruition!
I guess SunnyMarch was very serious when it said they were committed to bringing women into the fold. Both behind the scenes, in development and on the screen. Bravo!
