I'm just glad the whole thing is over! Too much information about both of them, as far as I am concerned.
I'm not a fan of either of them.
Toxic people with too much money and not enough common sense.
Give me BC and Sophie ANY day! Kind hearted, keep to themselves, no scandals. Celebrity couples goals!

I just want to add a couple more points here, and then I’ll shut up about it, lol. Maybe. 😉😂
JD is very much an introvert, and so for his messy and toxic private life to be exposed to the world like that was undoubtedly painful and humiliating for him, in addition to him losing his career because of her defamation of him. Yet he took all that and kept moving forward with the trials, not only to try and clear his name, but to bring peace to his children who were very upset at the name calling and wife-beater accusations that have been smeared all over him over these past 6 years. He absorbed all that partially for the sake of his family and that’s an honorable thing to do.
Additionally, anyone can fall into a terrible marriage. It’s easy to stand on the outside and make comments, but abuse can happen to anyone. It doesn’t make you a bad or stupid person to get caught in an untenable situation. When you’re dealing with a narcissist it makes it doubly difficult to get away because they do everything to stop you.
I’m glad he’s out of that relationship and his name was cleared. Y’all can make judgments about who he is and how he lives his life, the choices he’s made, and whatever else you want, but it was an extremely difficult thing he did and he deserves props for that, at least.
Of course BC and Sophie have the perfect marriage, if you don’t count the fact that it’s fake, with the fake kids, drug addiction, child trafficking, DID, and tertiary syphilis, of course. I’m joking! We do tend to project all over them whatever fairy tale romance we’d like in our own lives. We don’t have a clue what their marriage is really like (although I’m pretty sure it’s not toxic), but I’m sure they have their arguments and unreasonable bits, too. My headcanon is that he constantly leaves his dirty socks in the living room, lol.
That’s my two cents. Thanks for listening. 🙏🏻

I didn’t follow the trial at all. I only read the headlines when they were right in front of me and I couldn’t avoid them.
However, I don’t see why the outcome will have any impact on how victims come forward to report abuse in the future. How many of us can relate to two wealthy, famous celebrities? It’s not even a case of the much more relatable “me too” scenario with a disgusting boss/terrified employee relationship - like that horrible Harvey Weinstein.

Wow @jbc. REALLY well said. For good or bad, this trial will reverberate into the “real world,” I think, for a long time.

Ok, so maybe I’m alone in thinking that these wealthy celebrities were both showing off for the cameras, and their trial means nothing at all in the real world. There is nothing “real world” about either one of them.

Lol giving that interview was the dumbest thing she could have done, imo. She should have gone away from the limelight for 6 months at least. Now it just looks like she’s starved for attention and that she’s digging a deeper hole for herself in continuing to defame Johnny. He could sue her again.
Frankly, she doesn’t seem very bright and she’s a terrible actress. People don’t believe her story and when that happens you shut up and lay low for a while. Then do the redemption tour. God knows what she’s thinking. 🤷🏻♀️
