The following is just a lighthearted piece of daftness.
If you could hold a Sunday tea party and you could invite 12 celebrities, who would you chose?
My list.
Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Benedict Cumberbatch (naturally) Timothy Spall, Hugo Weaving, Peter Capaldi, Kenneth Branagh, Amanda Abbingdon, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench,
Lyndsay Duncan and Imelda Staunton.

I might add Martin Freeman (instead of Timothy Spall) to Dickens’ party so that he and Amanda might get back together (I’m certain they’re both unhappy since the split!).
And sorry - even if you begged me, I would not attend Roverpup’s party if Bill Maher is there. I think he’s a jerk.

Well, that's why it's my party and not yours, mllemass. 🤣😂
I won't defend my individual choices here (but I could) since I took this to be a fun thread - so I'll keep this lighthearted. But I figured a few "loose cannons" in the mix makes for lively conversations.
But I suppose I could easily substitute Michael Moore for Bill Maher if that would assuage your feelings at all. Or Steve Paikin. Both would be great guests as well. Come to think of it Paikin would be the best choice of the three! 😊
I'll change my selection momentarily.

friends but I read an article today by Todd McCarthy about Norman Lloyd cancelling his 106th birthday party because the Covid-19 and how they are great meetings every year with him lucidly talking about people like Charles Chaplin, Hitchcock, Elia Kazan, etc. So listening to Norman Lloyd would be a great tea party! Who else? Maybe some "nice" comedians like Michael Palin and Graeme Garden. I also admire a few rude ones but I guess the nice ones would be better for a tea party; David Byrne, Jane Campion, columnist Kenan Malik, Guillermo del Toro (I'm not a super fan but I like to hear him talk about Hitchcock and he seems to be a good man), film critic Amy Taubin, Werner Herzog, Michael Chabon, Jeffrey Eugenides and Annette Insdorf (she is the woman who interviewed BC in 2014 about TIG when he mentioned he would like to play Patrick Melrose. She is also specialized on Francois Truffaut and I love to hear her to talk about him!). So just one (106 years old) actor and no BC! Too intimidating! 😉
*I know Palin and Garden are actors and Byrne kind of played himself in True Stories but I classified them respectively as comedians and musician!
