Ireland’s top of my list, actually. Maybe I can live in some old, falling down famine cottage in the west and ignore the rest of the world, lol. I think all the falling down famine cottages have, er, fallen down. But I’m sure there’s a bolthole to be found somewhere. How about this on one of our tiny offshore islands - Inishturk. Population 50 people and a lot of sheep. www.daft.ie/for-sale/detached-house-inishturk-co-mayo/53574

Oh god that’s perfect! 😍😍😍 TWO pictures of the soccer field, lol. Sheep! Windswept, misty rocks! County Mayo! *sigh*
My bro had a friend who was sleeping rough in a famine cottage years ago on the Dingle. When the roof would fall in, he’d just move to another section so he wouldn’t get rained on. He went to make a phone call one day at a box on the road and the operator said she’d have to call him back & asked for the number. He couldn’t find it, and she was like, “yes, it’s there, have another go,” so he kept looking and finally said, “the only number here is 3.” She said, “aye, that’s the one, I’ll ring you back.” 😂😂😂
Imagine a single digit phone number! 😉

It’s used for Gaelic Football and Hurling. If you want to fit in with the locals never, ever call it a soccer field. 😱 We don’t have single digit phone nos anymore but there are still some pretty remote places. Inishturk is a lovely island to visit. I was there a couple of years ago. It’s about an hour’s journey in a small ferry from the mainland. We stayed in a B&B (there are two on the Island) for a night so spent the day doing some magnificent cliff walks. At night we had a lovely dinner in the building which serves as a community centre, bar and restaurant. There is also a tiny shop. And that’s it. The total population is 50 and the kids have to take the ferry across to the mainland every day to go to school from the age of 11. There is a small primary school on the island for kids aged 5 - 11. I think it has about half a dozen pupils. So I think it is about as remote as you can get QZ. Shall I get the estate agent to give you a call? 😀

Running around with heavy sticks, swatting away inches away from each other. I think the bloodletting exceeds that of hockey! Let me scrape together a bit of money and a few sheep first, lol. And learn what things are called.

It’s so fast and requires a lot of skill. These days the players do wear helmets and gum shields. But no body protection.
