Octopussy is the only James Bond movie I’ve ever seen. I’d like to think that I saw it the same day Benedict did!
I never intended to see it. I was with a group of friends and we had plans to see some other movie (I don’t remember which one) that was sold out, and Octopussy was playing across the street. Up until then, I was proud of the fact I’d never seen a James Bond movie. I don’t remember anything about it. I didn’t like those kinds of movies back then, and I still don’t now.

Skyfall was a really good movie. Period.
James Bond movies are just like any other "format" movies... some are junk, some are great and some are sublimely ridiculous.
A lot of the James Bond movies were done with a huge amount of tongue-in-cheek content. You have to enjoy it in that vein, I think. It just silly, so it's nothing to be taken seriously.

I think it’s just a genre of movies that doesn’t appeal to me. I remember my father watching them on tv when I was little. There were the James Bond movies, but also other similar types - handsome lady’s-man spy, nasty villain, pretty girls in bikinis.
As I said, I actually watched all of Octopussy, and I remember nothing at all about it other than Roger Moore - and that’s only because my mother was a big fan of his.

I had opened that article for hours but I'm being very lazy.
Here is a summary.
I always said Feige didn't care for Strange and considering he's also given Waldron Avengers: Secret Wars and a Star Wars movie I think we will not see much of BC. Not a problem to me, I prefer other projects for BC.

It’s one of those Jaeger-LeCoultre article, I saw it early today but I didn’t have time to post it.
I don’t think he said he wrote the scene all by himself but that he made some suggestions/maybe yep wrote something and then Raimi and Waldron included those bits. I guess it’s something similar to the “psychotic” scene at the hotel in Patrick Melrose. David Nicholls didn’t included it in the script because he thought it was too much. BC allegedly insisted on set and made suggestions about how he could perform it then the script writer improvised there and wrote the scene for him. I could be wrong but that’s what I understood when I read that part.
I haven’t watched the movie. The not so positive reviews didn’t exactly made me want to run to watch it! Lol But TBH I feel slightly uncomfortable by how some fans on Twitter speak about Waldron. It’s ok to criticize him and saying they don’t like his style but some accounts are very aggressive and it’s just pure bullying!
Agreed that it’s better if BC has more free time to do non-Marvel movies! Lol

I think the Waldron hate is some projection against the Wanda stans. They were so over the top about how fabulous she was and that the film was hers, not Strange’s, and that worked everyone else into a lather because they would not shut up about it. Then the nitpicking started (as well as some accurate and reasonable critique about the lack of Stephen’s character development). Now it appears Waldron is Feige’s writer of choice but imo, he’s a bit lackluster, doesn’t understand the characters he’s writing, and has little depth. So it appears to me we’re now in the “let’s shoehorn the plot onto these characters we don’t really understand,” phase of the Marvel universe. There’s a “tightness” to that approach which doesn’t bode well for the creative side of their projects.

I have seen people wishing him death and that’s just horrible! Again, it’s ok not to like the work and expressing it but attacking the human being is just bad! It’s just a movie!
Agreed that the Wanda fans are extremely annoying but they are just stupid kids so the best is just ignoring them. Yesterday one was saying that no one has giving a better performance this year than her and, of course, people were making fun of the poster (I have the person blocked so she/he obviously was annoying before but I saw the tweet on BC’s hashtag because people were saying them that even in “her” movie, BC and others were much better than her. That’s an opinion, of course, like theirs!). I think they don’t help their “fave” with that aggressiveness!
