I just got an email from TIFF about tickets still available this week for some movies, including Louis Wain. The email includes that photo of Louis Wain holding the white fluffy cat.
This screening is an extra one they added to their schedule.

TIFF sent an email this morning with a list of movies that still have digital tickets available (only in Canada, though). TPOTD must be sold out. I’ll be watching both again later. I can’t wait!

I don’t remember seeing this before! It has his usual “I don’t talk about my family” before he talks about his family. Ha!

I remember seeing this before, but I LOVE hearing and seeing him say this again! It's quite evident that 3 little active boys are a challenge sometimes to say the least!❤❤❤ 🥰

With all these movies that Benedict is supposedly filming, do you think that any of them will premiere at TIFF? I got an email from TIFF saying that their membership fees will be going up at the end of April. If we renew before then, we’ll get the membership at the old fee.
What do you think? Should I renew my membership and hope that he’ll have a movie (or two or three) there?

It is too early to know but I guess the biggest possibility is the Wes Anderson movie. Especially, if Netflix decides to take it to Fall Festivals. Was Matilda The Musical screened there? If it was, I guess its chances are better. But of course, Henry Sugar has the advantage that it is not only Roal Dahl but also a Wes Anderson film.
They said The End We Start From will go to festivals but it’s by a relatively new unknown filmmaker so who knows. TIFF is very diverse and could admit it or The Book of Clarance even if they aren’t Festival material (I don’t know if they are or aren’t) but it’s obviously not a sure thing. The Hardest they Fall was released at BFI London Film Festival (as it was Matilda. I just checked) but I think Clarence will be released in September so maybe TIFF could be a possibility.
