I don’t know how I feel about the tribute award they’re giving him. On one hand, he absolutely deserves every award! On the other hand, I think it’s too early in his career for this award.
Also, Jessica Chastain is getting this tribute, too. I haven’t liked anything I’ve seen her in, and I’m not too fond of her - so I wonder if this award actually means anything.
It might just be one of those situations where they promise celebrities awards if they promise to show up to the event.
But yes! I’m thrilled that he’ll be here and I will do anything in my power to be there, too.
(I’ve already decided that money is no object this time! I got over the shock of the ridiculously high cost of hotels in downtown Toronto the last time I attended TIFF. Now that I know that those prices are normal, I can accept it. Over the years, the only other times I stayed in a Toronto hotel was for work. In those cases, the room was either paid for or was a greatly reduced conference price.)

I have the Toronto tv news on right now, and they just talked about Benedict! They showed a bunch of clips of him while the voiceover talked about the tribute he’ll be getting at TIFF. My heart is literally pounding from only hearing about him being at TIFF! I’ll be a wreck when it actually happens - ha!

The award is three years old and quickly is becoming an Oscar race thing. I think the main requirement is to have at least one film in the festival line-up, being famous and have some possibility of being nominated for an Oscar.
In the actors categories they gave it first to Meryl Streep (who had The Laundromat there that year) and Joaquin Phoenix (for The Joker); last year, it was Anthony Hopkins (The Father) and Kate Winslet (Ammonite) so there are two young actors and two older ones. The women hadn’t been very lucky, until now, with the Oscars but the two men went to won it. That’s also the case of Roger Deakins and Chloé Zhao. That’s why it’s highly publicized now

According to this, Scorpios should see TPOTD.

I don't agree with the descrption. Stubborn? We just know we're right. Always.
Peter would be a good Scorpio. Scorpios have a tendency to lay in wait, collecting information and trust until their time to strike.
