I just put “cat” into the search box in my photos stored on my iphone because I was looking for a particular pic of my cat and didn’t fancy trawling through everything else to find it.
Anyway up pops all my pics of my cat and ….. all the pics of BC I’ve saved over the years to post to this board etc. Nothing else. Just my cat and BC. So obviously my phone thinks BC is a cat.
So I thought I’d share this potentially newsworthy discovery. 😂

The eyes, doesn’t?
Or maybe the phone knows about the Louis Wain film!

I have more than 3000 photos on my iPad, most of them of Benedict. I just did a search for “cat” to see what came up, and it gave me two photos of a coyote. At least, I think it was a coyote - it was wandering around our street one day last year and I wasn’t sure what animal it was so I took pictures of it. So my iPad has identified it as a “cat” or “cat-like animal”. It’s weird that my cat search didn’t bring up the photo I have of Benedict as Louis Wain holding the big fluffy what cat.
A general search for “animals” brought up lots of Benedict photos, with animals, including the one from red-nose day where his red nose was a ladybug. But the photo that puzzles me is the one I use for my profile picture here, where I’m getting his autograph at TIFF. There definitely isn’t an animal in that!
