I hope Benedict is ok!
This is why there were no after-parties at TIFF this year - the reason it was so “boring”.

It reads like the cases were from The Tragedy of Macbeth premiere the very last day.
I saw a few fans speculating he could be in quarantine and that's why he didn't went to Paris but he was kissing Campion on the lips! She also would had been in quarantine!
There were also cases at Telluride and TIFF and they didn't have major repercussions. Hopefully, it's the same here.

Yes, the cases are from the very last days so no TPOTD.
And only two persons. Hopefully, they are alright and there aren't more.

I just watched the master class and unsurprisingly is wonderful! Funnily at the beginning she talks about watching Belle du Jour when she was still a kid but she didn’t remembered the name of the film so she kept mentioning Luis Buñuel. The issue is that she is an English speaker so she can’t really pronounce his name so I had to rewind the video a few times before understanding who the hell was the filmmaker she loved so much! Practically a local but it sounded like someone more exotic (to me!)
It’s great, she talks extensively about her shorts which it’s kind of uncommon and at the last part she is asked about how she seems to love actors and cast them against type with the example of both Nicole Kidman in Portrait of a Lady and BC in TPOTD (00:43:40), first she talks about Kidman who was known then only as the pretty wife of Tom Cruise but was about to become the art cinema queen thanks in big part to Campion and Gus Van Sant. I found it interesting because she mentions she recommended her an acting couch that she knew thanks to Harvey Keitel and I remembered that the NYT piece about the dream coach said that Keitel was a client so I think that maybe is the same people!
She talks about BC at 00:49:00 and she calls him talented, charismatic, courageous, fearless, vulnerable and other wonderful adjectives. She also mentions she recommended him some people but talks about both of them working with their psyches with them to understand the characters and said not all actors are open to those methods like him was. Very nice and illuminating about their work together.

In one interview, Kirsten Dunst said that she had to clean Jane Campion’s house to prepare for her role as Rose. JC wanted to see that KD knew how to do things like make beds and mop floors. As silly as that may sound, I found it interesting because I actually noticed how she did those things in the movie. In one scene, she quickly changed the sheets on a bed while carrying on a conversation, and I remember thinking “Look how quickly she did that!”, because it seems to take me forever whenever I do it. Even mopping the floor and kneading dough in the kitchen seemed second-nature and I totally believed that KD really does those things in real life.
