Not all the pictures I selected worked out (some were too large of a file even screenshot). I will try to do more. I'm not very good at this but I'll try my best.

Thanks for the lovely comment!
And yes, you remembered correctly - my birthday is on the 11th so it was a bit early, but Dan knew I was excited to get it so he said to open it early!
It is massive and the pictures are huge and the pages are very thick (quality paper for sure!). The book cover is cloth on board backing - it feels like a thick tablecloth. The protective cover is a hard shell that the book slips into with an opening for the spine.
Visually it is expansive with very few items on each pape and loads of space between sections. It just seems to stretch out like a landscape.
I have skimmed it several times and looked at the pictures closely several times, but other than the breakout quotes that go with the pictures, I haven't yet yet read the detailed descriptions of parts written by Jane about the process of filming (and there are sections by some of the other production people about their areas of expertise). Also there are some correspondence notes between Jane and J. Greenwood about the musical score that I haven't read yet.
So there's tons yet to look at yet.
I'm just so disappointed that I can't reproduce some my face pictures! There's one of BC with a Ben of light directly on his one eye (a huge full page picture) that is my favourite, but it is just too large of a file to put here.
There's another one of him with what looks like tears welling up in his eyes but it won't reproduce either. 😭
Another one is just Phil's shadow on the wall and a quote from George asking him what he said to Rose that upset her so much. That one is also a five of mine because of the emotion it elicits. Phil's head is hanging down as if the camera captured for one brief second his shame.
Anyway I'll try to post some more if I can but I haven't been having much luck.
Funnily I can post all of them on Tumblr (not on my blog but I have messaged a couple of trusted people some of my faves).

Thanks for posting the links to the book.
I avoided looking at this until now because I was afraid it would spoil the impact of my birthday present. But now that I've had a chance to really enjoy the book in real life I will browse more thoroughly through that electronic version.
Yes my most favourite is the one with that light beam on Phil's face. It's a great encapsulation of his personality I think. A dark and damaged person but with a little beam of light that shone directly into his soul and hidden passion. I really feel for him when I look at that photo.

I suppose the link to buy the book is on one of the other threads but I found it now posted by the photographer Kristy Griffin when I went to look at her picture with BC. I didn't know they ship to South America.
