They are blank spaces, not words. The green means the letters are correct. This is the way it was designed to share your results with others without giving away any answers.
I’m surprised at how obscure some of the words have been. Sometimes I’ll spend a long time not wanting to put in a word because I’m sure it’s wrong and there’s a simpler answer. But then I give up and put in the obscure word, and it’s correct!

No - it makes perfect sense! Before finding the “share” button, I had wondered why people were posting shots of green squares with no letters. So I thought - someone else doesn’t know what that means, either! But I guess I was the only one who didn’t get it. Ha!

I have a question - I see on Twitter when people guess the word correctly they post it but it appears as only the colours (with no letters filled in). I can't seem to find the link to do that. What's the secret?

Usually, when you finish each puzzle, there is a share link/button/thingy. But only once you are finished.

I have a question - I see on Twitter when people guess the word correctly they post it but it appears as only the colours (with no letters filled in). I can't seem to find the link to do that. What's the secret? It might help testing it out first, just to be sure. That’s what I did when I tried to figure out how people posted their result. I clicked the “share” button and a message appears that it’s been “copied to clipboard”. You can then “paste” it somewhere else. I tested it first by pasting it in a document - or you can even try it in a message here - to see what it looks like. I actually have a question! I’ve seen that every day, people on Twitter post that they failed that day’s puzzle. Is failing really that common? I’ve been doing the daily wordles every day, and I always get them eventually. And I’ve done about 50 of the archived puzzles, and only missed one (in my defence, I wasn’t wearing my glasses and didn’t hit the letter I meant to hit).

Thanks for answering my question mllemass!
I tried the "share" and then copied it to my Samsung notes folder.
Then I copied it to my messages in this forum and it sort of worked.
Almost all the boxes were there but not the letters ( just like I have seen elsewhere). A couple of boxes didn't come through.
As for your question - I was thinking the same thing. It just doesn't seem that hard. In fact if you know basic English language rules (like as in the most common letter combinations with that language etc.) I don't see how you could NOT get it in 4 to five tries.
I play a LOT of Online Scrabble and it's a LOT harder!
EDIT: Just tried posting it on my Facebook page by the way you described mllemass AND IT WORKED!!! THANKS A BUNCH! ❤❤❤👍

One of the words that took all six tries was actually quite easy. By my second guess, I had _IGHT, so I just had to figure out that first letter. I was panicking that I would miss such an easy word! I don’t even remember what it turned out to be (FIGHT, SIGHT, MIGHT, NIGHT, RIGHT, LIGHT, TIGHT?) but I got it by my last try. Whew! So the obscure words are faster.

Here’s a new version! They give you the shape of a country or territory and you have to ID it. They tell you how many km away you are and which direction you need to go in. worldle.teuteuf.fr/
