I’ve watched this entire series on Netflix the past few days. It really didn’t interest me, and I’m not crazy about Michael Douglas, its star, but I gave it a try because the episodes are short - around 25 minutes.
I now completely understand all the award nominations it has received! It’s very, very funny, even if there’s way too much talk about the aches and pains of getting older. The series centres around Michael Douglas’s character - an acting teacher in LA. I thought he would be an annoying, irritating character, and he’s not the nicest guy in the world, but he turns out to be the voice of reason among his friends and family.
I recommend it!

Love The Kominsky Method! We watched it on the recommendation of a friend a while back. I always enjoyed Michael Douglas but Alan Arkin was the biggest draw for me in this. And Chuck Lorre as the creator (because we really enjoyed The Big Bang Theory).
I guess all the jokes about the aches and pains of getting older hits a lot closer to home for me and makes it much more relatable at my age!

I’ve always liked Alan Arkin, too. And they gave him such hilarious lines to say!
