I will be buying this (of course!), but do you suppose they’ll have anything we haven’t seen before? I was thinking about this and I now think that only the Annie Proulx interview is new because they explicitly said it. They normally release old films. It’s odd when they have something so recent like TPOTD so when they said something is new, you know it was recently recorded for Criterion and it isn’t a curious item from when the film was released or when it was celebrated because some anniversary or something decades ago. In the case of TPOTD, everything is “new” because it was recorded just one or two years ago but they are actually saying that Proulx interview is “new” and nothing else so I imagine the rest wasn’t exclusive recorded for the DVD/BluRay. I recognize the chat between female crew and the BTS is probably one of the videos posted by Netflix on streaming or on YouTube (this last one is the one including interviews with the cast), the Jane Campion interview is a mystery because there were a lot!

The artist explains in the comments that this drawing “failed” because the “likeness was off”!
Wow! I think the likeness is spot-on, and I’d be thrilled to have drawn it myself!

It seems they are already sending them!!!
I pre-ordered mine on Amazon USA.
By the way, supposedly the Barnes and Noble’s Criterion sale (50% off during all the month) begins tomorrow so maybe those in the USA would want to wait for the release day instead of pre-ordering it.

Of course I will be buying it, but I think it’s important to watch it on Netflix if possible. They need to know that there’s still an audience for it out here!
