This sounds like he would have just the role of producer and not as actor. The second project, first one is The Guantanamo Diary announced a few years ago. Both movies with a modern political message. That doesn't seem the case with the projects (more obviously) starring by him, at least we count the anti-Hitler/nazism message of Rogue Male (also they can always modernize the dictator in the novel!) and The War Magician.
More urgent the article seem to confirm the role of SunnyMarch producing Rio!

This project sounds very interesting and should have a great part for an actress.
The variety article says that "Sophie Hunter" would be one of the producers. I wonder if this is true, or just a misprint since the author's last name is Hunter. Maybe Sophie is taking an active part in Sunny March.

Wonder if the author is a relative of Sophie's?
Seems like BC is definitely planning for the long term career he's always said he wants and maybe SH is going to take an active role in Sunny March too.
I hope it all works out well as they definitely have some interesting projects on their books.

If you go down to the comments section of the article, someone points out that the writer, Megan Hunter, is married to Sophie's brother, so she's Benedict's sister-in-law. I don't know if it's true, though. If it is, it looks like the whole family in involved with this production.

Another comment says Megan Hunter is a pen name, so maybe she is no relation. It does sound like a terrific movie! How does he keep up with everything?

Very, very excited to see Sophie getting involved with SunnyMarch. Love that the company is becoming a family affair! I think her out of the box thinking will bring an exciting addition to the properties that BC's company may seek out in the future.
Just thrilled to bits about this news. And this new book that SM has acquired seems really interesting!!
:-))

Rogers, Coleridge and White is a Literary Agency. It makes no sense hey represent an actress/producer. Also, it represents Megan Hunter and her agent is Emma Paterson. I think they confused the names which is a pity because I'd have love if SH was the producer because of what implies to haters.
Anyway, Megan Hunter is her sister-in-law.
Those comments on the article! I don't understand the SH's haters nor her apologists. Nobody really knows her.

Those comments on the article! I don't understand the SH's haters nor her apologists. Nobody really knows her. I can't comment re whether or not Megan Hunter, the author, is indeed the sister-in-law. I wouldn't take the comment quoted from under the article as necessarily correct. But I haven't investigated otherwise. Do you know that for certain, Magda? But I must admit that I also assumed quoting Sophie as a producer was probably a typo, and just a confusion of the two "Hunter" names. Apart from anything else, wasn't there an announcement a while back that Sophie was to use "Sophie Cumberbatch" as her official name now rather than "Sophie Hunter"? If Sophie was being officially quoted as producer, it would therefore surely be as Sophie Cumberbatch.
