I saw this on BC’s hashtag because someone listed BC as one of the British celebrities she met that were really nice after someone stupidly said all British people are rude because they are colonizers *Facepalm*
But wow! It’s the real deal and not just a rumor. He was banned from a NYC restaurant for being rude to the waiters! I remember we were talking the other day about how BC seemed to be extra nicer with restaurant crews and that he has talked about his respect for them because he used to work as a waiter and how a good number of people in the UK imagine that’s just not possible because he is soooo “posh”! I wonder if this middle class guy who played a working class punk in Starter For Ten (with BC playing the priggish posh idiot) and began his career in a Mike Leigh film about the mythical British working class has ever had a humble working class job!
(By the way, I have always feel bad about the bad press/social media he gets. Especially because a lot of it centers on attacking his body shape! But again, it seems this time is something official. Still, the guy could have some mental problem or something but, of course, people working for him doesn’t have to suffer for whatever issue is affecting to him)

I’ve heard this type of stuff about Corden before. Apparently he’s an entitled snob and acts like a jerk to working people.
There’s also that story about him on an airplane (which is prolly buried in the comments there), which is wild.
There’s also a new round of “BC is ugly” going around, started by some Wanda fans. People are so exhausting sometimes. 🙄

Sorry - but that’s TMZ, not the most reliable source of information. That story actually made me laugh! Are we sure JC wasn’t trying to be funny? He does do that on his show a lot - act all serious and angry as part of a “bit”. If I was a server and a comedian spoke like that to me, I would assume he was being funny.

If people don’t know you’re being funny, then your bit isn’t funny. It’s one thing to slag off on a peer but another when you do it to a service worker. 🤷🏻♀️

Might I mention Corden's infamous AMA on reddit? Good times. (God, I forgot how people didn't hold back on that AMA - boozy panda?).

If people don’t know you’re being funny, then your bit isn’t funny. It’s one thing to slag off on a peer but another when you do it to a service worker. 🤷🏻♀️ Let me explain: When I was young and in a new job, an older co-worker that I was helping, Linda, asked me to phone our manager, Bill, with some information he needed from her. When I told him that I had the information he wanted, he interrupted me and asked why Linda hadn’t called him. I explained that I was helping out and she asked me to do it. I then tried to continue to tell him the information, but he interrupted again. He screamed at me “That’s unacceptable! I asked Linda to call me with this! She had no business getting someone else to do it for her!” As I stood there holding the phone, listening to Bill screaming at me, I thought “What a jerk! Who cares if it’s me or Linda? This man is horrible!” Being young and new, I wasn’t really in a position to talk back, so I was waiting for him to finish yelling so I could apologize and tell him that I would have Linda call back. I was so disappointed, though, because a friend had told me that Bill was such a nice guy, and yet not to me! I had heard that he was hilarious and fun to work for, and always pulling pranks on people . . . And then it occurred to me that he was joking! So I laughed, and Bill laughed at the other end of the call, and I became one of his prank stories he had become famous for. Years later, I ended up in the building where Bill was a supervisor, and all the secretaries had their desks out in the open, in front of their bosses’ offices. He once went through a phase where whenever a secretary left her desk, he quickly went over to her computer and put in an embarrassing screen saver. Of course, she sometimes wouldn’t discover it until hours later, when she wasn’t there, and a crowd had gathered around her desk to laugh at the message scrolling across her computer screen. No one ever saw him do it, but he happily took the credit and all the laughter. I have lots more examples, but that was a lesson I learned many years ago. I always treat a supposedly rude person as if they’re trying to be funny. It’s a lot less stressful, and even if I’m wrong at times, I’m right at times, too.

They are quoting an Instagram post by the restaurant owner. He mentions two reports by his staff but says/suggests there are multiple events. He is publicly and officially banning him from his restaurant. I just thought that it's extremely odd for a restaurant owner to do something like that so who knows?! Maybe it's a very twisted complex prank by them but, if not, he is just really bad! About TMZ, they are morally awful indeed but once I read that, for example, they never get wrong a death and they are frequently the first one to report it. So not necessarily unreliable but mostly disgusting!

He's known for being an absolute bellend in every possible way. The assistants I've known who worked alongside him had nothing good to say- he consistently treats everyone like they're trash. How he built his career in the US is beyond me. Nobody likes working for- or with- him. Truly a special skill to make it to the "top" as a celeb when everyone detests you and dreads having to work with you. I feel for anyone in the service industry who has to deal with that level of entitlement and the rude behaviour that stems from it. It's vile, whether the source is a celeb or a regular person. Service jobs are hard enough without horrific customers. Ellen also received a lot of bad press about her treatment of her staff. I guess a lot of people in the entertainment business just make a lot of sacrifices to keep their job. There is just too many people wanting their job that they just tolerate the abuse. But he apparently was abusing people in another industry!

There’s also a new round of “BC is ugly” going around, started by some Wanda fans. People are so exhausting sometimes. 🙄 Those people are insecure trolls. There's a reason why they rarely post a photo of themselves! Actually, just yesterday I saw a tweet by a guy making fun of some random political activist claiming she looked exactly like BC but he himself actually looked a lot like her! And no, I'm not making fun of any of them but it was fascinating how he could not see that! They looked like siblings! Also the joke was that she was extremely pale and with curly hair, BC has ages he does not look like Sherlock because he has ages not playing the role! Poor Elizabeth Olsen, tho.! Her fans are so annoying that I'm now don't want to watch anything with her because she reminds me to those losers! And I'm sure it's just a few but they are insufferable. They aren't helping her at all! They are terrible fans!
