This is a pretty stupid comment but I almost feel sorry for him. After all, that’s what he is pay for: random stupid comments about the efficiency of Oscar campaigns! Not quality or facts, just stupid interpretations based on nothing and more often than not being demeaning to perceived “losers”
He probably will be castigated for this but that’s just your typical award pundit. It’s just that he touch a sensitive issue this time.

I think it’s about “deserving” it or not. “Snobs” Hollywood types is punching up according to Twitter but he miscalculated it here. Of course, in any case it’s wrong! They aren’t different to gossip columnists but sadly “serious” films need them because even more sadly, that’s the only kind of slightly popular journalism they get.
EDITED I think the fairest thing to do is posting this, too.
EDITED And I just saw a Film Twitter dude answering to someone who said the joke didn’t even made sense that it did because Weinstein campaigned for “award baity” movies and that’s the freaking issue: if you didn’t like some movie then the people who did it or liked it didn’t deserved any human respect! Feinberg is actually someone with a very conventional taste on films but he like the others live by it: it’s cool to be nasty to people who cheers for movies they consider “losers”.
I’m not campaigning for him or anyone losing their jobs, by the way. I just think award pundit is a awful job!

I’m glad he apologized and, hopefully, removed that tweet, but clearly he did so because of the outrage that followed. How did he not see *before* tweeting it that it was “stupid, not funny, and in poor taste?” With all the pain and anguish Weinstein inflicted on women he still thought it was a good idea to make a lousy joke about it? Yet another example of how women and their issues are trivialized and not understood by lots of men.
Why are men? 😠

He got in trouble again!
I think she is right. I remember I kinda “defended” her here at the time. Not because I agreed with her. Actually, her “religious” opinion was very dangerous but THR was extremely hypocritical when they revealing her name but not the men’s. They said a huge star who was an Oscar candidate and the lead in a TV series were also anti-vaccines but they decided not to say who they were. Allegedly, Will Smith and Miles Teller so everyone kinda knew who they were referring (not sure if it was truth!) but they still “protected” them but not her.
Also, being anti-vaccine is not indeed the same that being an abuser or a pedophile! At worst, she was dangerously misguided and ignorant but not a straightforward pervert! And she apologized and that post sounds like she regretted it. That without mentioning that there were other celebrities that never retracted like her Marvel co-worker Evangeline Lily. So indeed, why THR is so vindictive against her?

I don’t understand a single thing on that person’s Twitter. I know it’s written in English, I read English and usually comprehend it, but all those posts are like in a foreign language to me. 😂🤷🏻♀️

Trump would be rejected as a character in Mr. Smith goes to Washington! No one would believe such an exaggerated villain could exist! Lol
He would absolutely NEVER could be considered for a Jimmy Stewart kinda hero part! Like NEVER! He is the total opposite!
