I watched the whole first season of The End of the F***in World, directed by Lucy Forbes and I have to say it was really good. The episodes are very short and it moves very fast so it was an easy watch. I think she did a great work. It’s a little like Wes Anderson but with a much darker photography and comedy. The cinematographer is also the same “Benedict” who is working in Eric (they are a team)! So yeah, a great writer and a talented young TV director. And of course, a great lead actor! It should be really good! Finger crossed! EDITED It seems she only directed episodes for the second season! Lol So I haven’t really watched her work! Anyway, the series is really good and the end was perfect, I don’t know what happens next but that would had been just the right ending the aspiring serial killer not just discovering he doesn’t really has a killer in him but sacrificing his life for the person he initially planned to kill. It’s a more twisted version of Kate Winslet being a suicidal girl who ends fighting for her survival and lives a long life (thanks to a guy who shows her how valuable is she) in Titanic. Or my favorite, The Spy who Came in From the Cold: the title calculating and cold spy not understanding why a source risked and lost his life for the passion he felt for a dubious woman but himself ending dying for a young woman (that he considered plain, very naive and even fat, in the book. In the movie she is gorgeous!) who he very coldly seduced to use her as a tool so Russian spies could contact him

I visited the Instagram account and that was posted one week ago! I guess they are Hungarian. It doesn’t seem to be new info about it.
EDITED Second The Wire actor in the cast, by the way.

Ah, a bit more information about the plot here! Thanks!
Does the beginning of the story remind you all a bit of „The Child in Time“? The missing of the child and the emotional struggles it brings to the father?
Of course, I‘m sure the setting and rest of the story is completely different, though.
Must be hard for him to play the dad in both stories! I mean, given that he is a father of three himself. (His own son turns 8 soon, we all know.)

Wallaby, I had the same thought. I hope in this one at least he finds his son at the end. A Child in Time was such a bummer.
