I just read a The Guardian, you know the supposedly working class newspaper, not just defending but celebrating her for calling film crew members “peasants” in private messages revealed during a trial she initiated against some film producers. Apparently, she knowing her privileged place in the world is very refreshing and cool and the author just can dream of be like her!
This is the newspaper that frequently attacks BC for things like having one bad centuries old and very dead ancestor; posing with swans for silly cover magazines (a sign of his privileged evilness!); and even for defending the newspaper! (Remember when they published an opinion piece attacking him for defending THEM after they were raid by the police because he is a privileged posh celebrity who clearly just wants to “educate” the “peasants” with his (liberal) ideas. I’m convinced that the stupid but perplexing very beloved author of the piece helped, like other dumb liberals, to create right wing narratives, in this case, that luvvies doesn’t have right to political opinions and should always being ridiculed for them… except when they are conservative! The right wingers aren’t so stupid like liberals to attack their own side!). And of course, when they fabricated a headline, they later retracted, claiming he told them Chelsea Manning should stay in jail when he told the press the opposite: that she should be freed! They wanted so bad to say he was a Tory when very inconveniently he is the very opposite!
Anyway, I don’t have anything against Eva Green. Everyone say stupid things especially in private situations with close friends but she wasn’t being nice with people with much less power than her and I doubt BC would say something similar. But hey, he is a posh!
EDITED The Spectator is also defending her for being such a diva, “a lost breed”, and their favorite rude message was also the one in which she called crew members “peasants from Hampshire” not when she attacked producers.
I don’t think it’s a major scandal but the only people angry at her seems to be the French who are offended for she saying she was rude because she is French. The class obsessed British newspapers just love when a beautiful rich woman with large breasts derogatorily calls workers “peasants”! Seriously, British press is ridiculous!
