The Swan was very upsetting, even when I read it. I was kind of hoping that WA edited it for his film, so that something suitably horrible happens to the bullies at the end. But sadly, no.

I knew Anderson would be paying attention to minute details but I was surprised how accurate it was. I first saw his writing shed here:
Edit: sorry not sure if someone has already shared this? I haven't been able to keep up with the posts.

I saw a short YouTube review that talked about this, too, in a way, making the unique connection WA creates in his work between literature, film, and theater. There’s lots of book to film adaptations (and the reverse in a capitalistic manner), but so few who bring in the theatrical aspect as well. I think it used to be done more in the past, with stagey films like Blithe Spirit or more notably, Olivier’s Henry V.

LOL!🤣🤣 He did look fab in those pyjamas, though! 😍
Edit: Do we think it's going to come out later that these were his own, in the same way he's worn his own clothing in other films? 🤔

I, too, have been wondering (read dreaming), about his pyjamas. Those orange ones were the bomb, and that blue striped robe over the top! Yummy! His racist pjs in Poison were also very nice. Understated, but still rather imagination inspiring.
