I really was hoping for information about other projects. I'll probably keep it for the trial period and then cancel.

Yes, I just saw that on Twitter. I don't want to sound stubborn but it doesn't seem a site with access to new information so I'm convinced he or she used IMDb info. The question is Is IMDb right?
I wasn't sure if I read Walter Salles name first on IMDb or Wikipedia, immediately after BC was announced but I checked both yesterday and he is still on IMDb. You can see that the last time the entry was edited was on April 12th, when BC was announced so Salles name was indeed there before BC. It's not something new and we know that he was attached years ago and according to the most recent info the movie doesn't have a director at this moment.

Just saw Walter Salles' name pop up again for this movie (and they referenced BC's name with it too) from a item about Cannes opening gala dinner. Don't know where this site got their info (maybe the are just taking it off of IMDB?) but at least it can be said he is still "rumoured" to be attached to the project.

TBH the leaked early script wasn't very good. The character is fascinating but the policewoman and the wife felt very cliche and stupid! Some of their dialogue sounded like taken from a very cringe-worthy American TV procedural. I always assumed they would changed a lot of things because again the real story and the guy are very fascinating in a morbid way! It seems that the wife has a more important role according to the summary. So probably it's not the dumb rich lady of the script.
It seems they changed the scriptwriter and now it's in long form so it's almost another project. The producer is the same guy, tho. So maybe there's a little hope BC could be considered for it. On the other hand, I feel Colin Farrell is Lanthimos' favorite actor of that age! Pure speculation, tho.
Also there is not dates but we know that BC has a very busy next year.

My why? is because he's going to lose the chance of working with Lanthimos. When I first saw a tweet about Lanthimos directing the picture/series I imagines AA has something to do with it. BC didn't mentioned this project when he spoke about his future ones. Si I'm guessing his out.

Hey, did y’all see that tweet that said BC’s no longer attached to this production? They’ve hired someone else?
