Wow. He'd have been 27/28 there but he does look 12! So skinny & gangly. Still with the lovely smile though which I think is one of his most attractive features.

I think the baggy jeans and sweatshirt add to the gangliness! Thank goodness for "skinny" jeans and form-fitting shirts - they're perfect for someone like him. |

That oversized sweater doesn't do his lean body type any justice that's for sure (but it is a gorgeous colour for him). And the baggy jeans add to that look as if he is "growing" into his clothes.
But he looks adorable. I love how his running shoe touches the floor almost like he is pointing his toe in ballet.

Yes, he looked much younger than his real age for a long time. But I must say I prefer his present look. IMO he is one of these men who look best mature, something like 40-50.

He's so cute! And haha yes those pics are definitely 2004, I remember those shoes well from that time.  I think BC is one of those guys who look 18 forever, and then all of a sudden overnight they catch up to their age. I like young!Benedict but he looks good as 40-yer-old!Benedict too.  I know the saying goes "men age like fine wine" or whatever, but that is really not true for everyone (although actors seem to often fall into this category, not all of them of course but more than "normal" people.) |

I obviously have too much time on my hands. . .
I was wondering whether he was wearing the same outfit in both pictures, so I turned the first one into black-and-white to make a better comparison. The outfits are different - which means, sadly, that he owned more that one pair of baggy jeans!
I can imagine the direction he got from the photographer: " Ok, Benedict! Have a seat in one of my weird chairs. Now, change into your other baggy jeans. And untie those shoelaces!"
