Quite understandable ellie! There is a lot better things to look at when viewing pix of BC than his watch!! Here's another one of BC and SH from that GQ party (I just love his smile in this one!) = And of course I loved when some clever person caught Ben giving Sophie a kiss on stage at the end of the performance! - :-))

Feb 13, 2017 at 9:59pm Post by roverpup on Feb 13, 2017 at 9:59pm Having appendicitis is scary anytime, let alone when you are a teen and not able to find your parents to help you out. I remember when my appendix became inflamed, I was at home from work that day, not feeling too well and suddenly I realised it might be more than just a touch of stomach flu (it was the tenderness in that particular area combined with my nausea). I consulted Google and the symptoms I was feeling matched appendicitis exactly, so I took a cab to "emerg" and was under the knife a couple of hours later. Such a simple operation but it can be fatal if left unattended. Thank goodness for Canadian universal healthcare! :-)) Re From what reads in the thread, it looks that Benedict Cumberbatch was sick with peritonitis, not mere inflaming of the appendix. And, yes, appendix inflaming is scary. (It got me fired, as long as I'm concerned... and the day I was born, my Bernard of a father was in the hospital with peritonitis, gramps was sent to the town hall to declare my birth, and I ended up with that silly name of mine. Evolution has still a lot of work to do. Grrrr.) Now, as long as cool cats like Benedict Cumberbatch end up showing their belly buttons and cute scars, it's okay. Thanks for reading. Pam

I like this pic. V sweet benedict-cumberbatch.freeforums.net/attachment/download/9Re It's too bad they seldom wear those looks in the movies. Smiles and cuddling. Of course, cats do this too. But that is only with food on their mind 😋 Very human pic. I like it pretty much. Thank you for posting. Pam.

Before otters fly from the sky : Seven warriors are cool, But one San jū ro is not a bad movie either. I love utterly san jū rō, because blades are not drawn out before the very ending of the movie. It's an ode to life and its beauty, imho. Now, the seven story is a milestone, of course. The rice picking and the music score of the festival is gorgeous... That's what you posted, isn't it ? Pam.

I love Kurosawa. Toshiro Mifune is the best actor ever. And so handsome. A bit of Sanjuro (a bit messy)

Aaargh. All you need is a caption : "Bushi no baka, sensōnohitōga, bakayarō !!!" Thought you'd miss all the fun of the movie before that.😍 Rashomon is dreadfull and terrifying, imho and weak stomach.😁 Mifune Toshiro in just a loincloth fishing into the river, on the other hand....😅[Ah. Sad girl.]
Pam Mmm,on second thoughts, maybe 'sensonomonoga baka ne!!!' sounds better.

Mifune Toshiro in just a loincloth fishing into the river, on the other hand....😅 Yep. I had a (male) friend who couldn't understand my attraction for Mifune. He said I just liked him because he was such a good actor. A bit racist imo.
