He’s still climbing! He’s now at #58. They used to update it on Sunday nights, but they must have changed days at some point.

I haven’t checked IMDB in a couple of weeks, so I’m surprised to see that he’s at #13 now! Wow! And TPOTD is at #1, although I don’t really understand how the movie rankings work.

I haven’t checked IMDB in a couple of weeks, so I’m surprised to see that he’s at #13 now! Wow! And TPOTD is at #1, although I don’t really understand how the movie rankings work.I think it's just like the actors, articles and news about them and people who search on Imdb for them.
One interesting thing is that it's been rated by 31,952 IMDb users while House of Gucci -which, apparently, is more popular by 31,311 IMDb users. House of Gucci was first last week.
For comparison: Belfast - 7,433 IMDb users King Richard - 22,875 IMDb users tick, tick, BOOM - 28,410 IMDb users CODA - 27,054 IMDb users Passing - 7,522 IMDb users Spencer - 20,107 IMDb users
Imdb users are mostly male, at least those who vote.
Another BC movie is number 2: Spider-Man next movie.
Jesse Plemons is 2, Kirsten is 15 and Kodi is 42.

After it was released at Venice, there were reports that some fans of another film (Dune?) that wasn’t received with the same level of praise (for whatever reason they wanted to hear it was the best film ever) organized to rate it with 0s and indeed were immediately a lot of 0 ratings when a very small number of people had watched it. The numbers actually got better after the release to general audiences. Maybe that’s why it has more voters than The House of Gucci. Although, it won’t be odd if HOG was also “attacked” or “helped” by another group!
That’s the problem with these ratings systems and it’s fascinating how some cultural commenters use them to show the wide separation between critics and mass audiences. Those aren’t mass audiences, they are just a small group of losers organized to alter things!
