Is there anyone shipping Dracula with Harker yet? Seeing as the new rule of two males in the same production = a ship, that is. Because when Dracula is slowly feeding off Harker and killing him it’s really b/c he wants to f*ck him. 🙄

Well, they look for it. Why the nun had to ask Harker if they had had intercourse? That eventually went nowhere.

I think she wanted to check out any possibilities, including STDs. And there is a strong sexual note to vampirism. But I think it was also in order to present her as a character not just outside the confines of religion but also as a someone far ahead of her own time, thereby pointing to future Zoe Helsing.

Also, wasn’t Harker’s girlfriend there, disguised as a nun, when those questions were asked? Maybe that question and others were for her benefit, too.

The work that went into this is amazing. I saw the construction of the ship some days ago. Here is the castle.

Moffat and Gatiss are superb writers and I cannot wait to see this production. I noticed that there were two character's from Sherlock and one from The Thick of It.

I don't know which the other nominees were but Dracula's production design was really awesome.
