I hope someone ask him about his Sunny March projects and not just about Marvel and Sherlock in his talk. Anyway he had banned to talk about the first one and he won't have anything new to say about the last one. Here is the link: www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/Another guests: Derek Jacobi! Terence Stamp! John Cleese! Christopher Lloyd! I'm impressed! I wouldn't pay but still I'm impressed!

I don't know if I'd pay for a picture but perhaps I'd go to the chat. BC's pictures seem to be the most expensive, John Cleese is next without counting group pics. He's going to have to take pic after pic. He already completed more than 26 batchs. And he's going to do a lot of money. Maybe noemi who just joined the forum can ask some questions like director for Melrose.

What's Derek Jacobi, John Cleese and Terence Stamp's connection to the comic con world?
I would be interested in hearing a BC Q&A but would have no interest in having a photo taken with him. I just don't get that whole "here's me with an actor" thing.
Good for him if he makes lots of money out if it. The more money he makes the more freedom he will have to do a wide variety of projects - not just thise that pay big.

Cleese is for Monty Python, which it's considered a nerd thing (Carol Cleveland, the actress who played the "sexy" women roles in the serie, will be also there). They mention Superman and Star Wars as Terence Stamp popular roles and Doctor Who and Gladiator (!) in Derek Jacobi case.
It's a lot of money and he should be very happy with the cheque but he is in a moment in his career that he doesn't need to do these things so I suspect there is a genuine interest to be there. I mean the last time in the Sherlocked event he was announced at the last minute after he and Freeman were ruled out. The organizers explanation was that he found a few free hours at the last moment (during his family vacations after another row of non-stop projects) and asked them to accommodate him. Of course Sherlock fans and the crazies (people who didn't even planned to go) were angry when he was not going to do it but also when he was announced at last minute and demanded explanations!
I read a few comments in their forum section and people there are in ecstasy with the announcement! Not cynism there which it's a nice surprise on Internet. Apparently he is breaking records with the packages sellings so like with the Sherlock events in which he undoubtedly was always the main attraction he will be very busy here even with the competition of other beloved fan boys celebrities.

Perhaps he is required by Marvel to attend some kind of ComicCon, so chose one close to home. Hopefully he won't have the flu this time!

Thanks Sgev. I didn't realise Monty Python & Gladiator were part of the comic universe. I thought it was just movies based on comic book characters.

Thanks Sgev. I didn't realise Monty Python & Gladiator were part of the comic universe. They aren't but the con is about films and comics.

It's about movies but TBF it's obviously about a certain kind of movies/series. I mean I doubt most people there are interested to meet Terence Stamp because his Pasolini movie! Surely a few fan-boys are also cinephiles but most not.
Monty Python is considered a nerd thing but Gladiator is not so I guess they named it just because it's a popular film and Jacobi is there mainly because his participation in Doctor Who. There are a lot of actors/celebrities there. Some more popular than others but everyone has a nerd movie/series in their filmographies.
Pamela Anderson will be there, too!!!
