That’s exciting! Does that mean the family will be moving to Italy for a while?

Sounds like pretty exciting stuff for the family in general and Sophie in particular! I can see them all journeying off to Italy for the month while Mummy works on her opera and Daddy takes care of the boys!
On the other hand, it's less than a two hour flight to get from London to Turin, so commuting home periodically during the month isn't out of the question either.
Hopefully COVID19 will be controlled by then so this can see fruition.

Yes and I hope BC is not working by then and could indeed spent his time with his family. Remember that Dr. Strange is still in the air and most probably will be shoot early next year but those movies shootings last almost half a year so it's probably he will be working on it!

It looks like Sophie has got another new project! www.forestfables.co.uk/Looks like an innovative and safe way to bring immersive theatre to families during covid times. Bravo!

Isn’t Mottistone Manor owned by her relative and where she & BC had their wedding reception? I think their second home is nearby. Looks like they may be spending Christmas on the Isle of Wight. A wonderful place to be at any time of year.

Yes, Mottistone Manor was the location of BC and Sophie's wedding reception.
Mottistone is a National Trust property.
The Gardens are open most days for tourists (Dan and I visited them when we stayed almost a month in England) but the house itself is only open to the public rarely (one day a year, I believe), unless the Seely family is hosting an event. It was May when we visited the IOW and the whole area was gorgeous! I did get to go through the little church where the Cumberbatches were married. Very isolated area and we were the only people in it the whole time. We even got to sign the visitors book! We also were able to make our way through the dense wooded area near Mottistone Manor and go up the steep hill to the Longstone. You can almost feel the magic of the faeries!
And this is also the area where the new house was built. In the summer someone took a pic of BC surfing at a spot just a stone's throw away from Mottistone right after the family came back from NZ.
Sounds to me like the family is planning on spending a lot of time on the IOW from now on. And why not! It's absolutely beautiful there and that side if the isle is virtually free of tourists.
In fact, the locals are so not used to tourists that when we were packing up to leave our cottage one of the elderly women who saw us at the bus stop with our luggage expressed great surprise when we told her we were going home to Canada. She said she thought that we had just moved to Brighstone!
