I haven't listened to CP for a while now either, but after having looked here again, I think it's time to revisit it. I don't remember most of the titles well enough to relate the right episode to the title, although some I do, but what really is quite remarkable is how well one does remember the detail of some of the episodes. And it's that memory that makes one want to listen again, because it's even a giggle thinking about them.
And like Mllemass above, I could listen to the goose episode {Uskerty) on repeat too! It's extraordinary to be able to take such repetition!

That’s one of my favs, too, Dreams. His terrible Irish accent cracks me up, not to mention the brilliant climbing the tree bit, and Arthur & Doug getting plastered on pineapple juice in the lounge. Great stuff!

I don’t remember all of them, either, but I remember most. Some are more difficult to remember because the titles are not really connected with what happens in the episode and the title is just there because it starts with the correct letter of the alphabet.
The first time I listened to them, I felt that I should do something constructive rather than just sit there listening. It couldn’t be something that required too much of my attention because I needed to focus on what was happening in the episode. I thought cleaning would be a good thing to accomplish in that half hour, but no! I would start out ok, but by the end I’d find myself just standing in the middle of the room holding a can of furniture polish, surrounded by dusty furniture. I soon gave up trying to do anything but picturing what was happening in the episode. I was always so amazed that I could “see” what was happening without ever having seen it.

My teenage son and I communicate mostly in John Finnemore quotes. Today he channelled Douglas Richardson, in response to something I asked him to do: "Always a pleasure, never a chore."

That’s so cute! He mentions these characters and right away I start picturing them in my head - which makes no sense because it was a radio show and we never saw the characters. I love that they’re still playing games together while apart - including Martin who doesn’t even live in Fitton anymore.
I was actually thinking about Cabin Pressure this morning. I was going to recommend it to a friend of mine as something she can do while stuck at home. And maybe I’ll start listening to it again, too.

And it just occurred to me that Martin and Teresa are still together! That makes me so happy for some reason.
