A reminder!
I hope they just talk and not attempt any funny bits. I don't think they can top the Mad Lib skit from the last time he was on. Jake Gyllenhaal was on the show last night and they did a really unfunny thing.

I really don't care what the host has him do - I just want to hear him talk (about ANYTHING!!!) and see what he is wearing. I want him to mention TCiT as well as promote TCW and maybe if I am really lucky he might mention his family (Sophie and/or "the boys") in passing - that would make me squee with joy!!
If he does a silly skit then that's OK - as long as he spends more time on the show. All those late night talk show hosts are the same to me anyway (unless it is Stephen Colbert or Bill Maher) - I can't tell the difference between any of them - so who it is doing the interview doesn't really matter to me.
It's all about Benedict as far as I am concerned.

Ummm, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Ben is so good.
The water trick was good, but I thought Fallon stepped on the real punchline, trying to get to the break. Rude. And I have no idea what that stupid game was about. Couldn't Jimmy just ask him questions? Does he have no idea what an interview is? Ben, of course, rose above it, which is why he's so good. Liked the song. Liked the delivery more than the song, actually. I love how Ben can just act like a fool sometimes. His playfulness is very refreshing.
That clip, tho. I went "Oh! Yeah!" I don't care what other people are saying, this movie looks good to me, and I have no doubt that the acting is stellar.

Most talk shows are just silly things and without doubt Fallon's is one of the silliest. We can't wait for some substantial interview there. But I understand you, I want a serious interview. Interesting enough most TIFF weren't, with the exception of the Q&A centered in the movie.
I would like an interesting article with info about his next projects. I hope The Big Issue thing is like that. Also surely The Child in Time interviews will be more serious I can't imagine anyone being silly with that theme.
