It was too late. I'm a hour earlier earlier here and I didn't wait for reactions! It should be tiring especially for someone who traveled the same day from the other side of the world, I read he was saying some incoherent stuff in the Q&A something about Gomez-Rejón inventing the cinema! Then corrected it saying he was tired! He did that a lot during TIG's Oscar campaign, I laughed when he said he studied war on Americans or something like that instead of post-war American theatre in one of those Q&A!
I woke up at 8:00 this morning, and my hair didn't need combing - a sign that I was dead asleep last night and didn't toss and turn at all. And I still feel like I didn't sleep at all!
I'm going to write my full "report" later, when I have more time. But I found this tweet that shows where I was standing when I was on the red carpet. The fourth image has Benedict in front of the crowd. On the far right, you can see the arms of the young Korean girl who was standing in front of me. So this picture shows that he did make it all the way down to where we were standing. I missed that, but that's ok because I was actually closer to him inside the theatre (details coming later!).
After thinking about the movie some more, I like it even more. There will be no comparisons to TFE! I think TCW is actually sweet and lovely and looks fabulous. But maybe people don't think it shouldn't be any of those things!
