DHP seems like a nice guy and has a deft touch with comedy. He was great in Down With Love (a truly terrible movie but wow Ewan McGregor was 😍😍😍 very pretty). DHP channeled the spirit of Tony Randall perfectly.

DHP channeled the spirit of Tony Randall perfectly. My favourite film role for DHP is as John Dean in Oliver Stone's Nixon. He was sublime! Another little known film role he had was in Steven Soderbergh's Full Frontal. Oh boy! He just broke your heart! He was such a sad, pathetic, crushed character! EDIT: I just realised - both of those roles I mentioned were entirely non-comedic! But he really does have a flair for comedy! His new show "Julia" is a great combination of both comedy and drama. He's wonderful in it!

I think they are talking about Hamlet. I remember that show. There were photos of him with some audience members and their helper dogs. I also remember people describing the “touch tour”.

More photos!
This is a "nice" story by a random poster that's actually very easy to confirm that it really happened.

Everything that fellow says is true, but I'm ambivalent towards BC playing James Bond.
He'd do a great job of course, but I'd rather not see him in a "franchise" series again (at least for the time being). And I say this as someone who has seen and enjoyed many of the Bond films.
I want him unencumbered, so to speak - able to dive into some of the projects that got shelved by so many factors (like Rogue Male, for one).
And I want him to, at some point, when he is able to (considering his family obligations), go back to the stage. I think he was born for live theatre!
And I wish he'd do more Shakespeare!
And get into directing!
All that comes waaaaay before seeing him as James Bond.
