Another Blade Runner similarity and, of course, Frankenstein: "a monster" created by science who is more human that his creator could even been and who must destroy him in order to be free.

Both Dan and I are trekkies. Not the costume wearing trekkies, but we've watched just about every Star Trek entity going since 1966. J.j. Abrams movie reboots were among our very favourites.
I would love to see him at the helmet again and if BC were included... well that would be the icing on the cake.
After all, Kahn was only put to sleep in the conclusion of STiD. Time to wake him up!

I am not a fan of Star trek or Star Wars. The only Sci-fi I liked was Doctor Who and Babylon 5. Now I quite like the Thor and Strange films.

I couldn’t think of where to post this.
It’s a quite upsetting article about an actor that was in STID with Benedict:

He was about to receive a special BAFTA for his career!
EDITED It seems he already received it. I’m just reading the article. I remembered they announced him as a honoree some time ago.

He was also in the first Doctor Who revival. The one before Moffat. Apparently, people are also recycling old random comments by himself and others about John Barrowman frequently exposing himself publicly as a joke on set. There aren't actual accusations against Barrowman. It seems everyone considered it a joke and used to laugh about it but well, things are different nowadays.
Someone said that probably that's why Moffat never hired Borrownan for his Doctor Who versions and that brought me memories of accusations about homophobia against Moffat because that. The point is you never know who would be accused next but I have noticed that people frequently mix actual crimes or disturbing behavior with ignorant and/or intentional provocative sayings. I mean it's OK to criticize Moffat's way of writing female characters but I always find difficult to believe that a guy whose bosses are his wife and his mother in law would be the huge mysoginistic monster Tumblr was convinced he was. I'm not a fan but my impression is that Sue Verture was a very strict producer.
On the other hand, I also have read tweets talking about "allegations" against Matt Smith. What he did? He performed very misogynistic scenes written by Moffat on TV! Yep, that's the allegation!
