Is there really a Superhero named Bananaman. What’s his special power? Lying down in the street so the villians slip on him, fall over and get captured by the sexier named Superheroes?

It was a BBC cartoon series in the 80's. Wikipedia says "Bananaman is a fictional character appearing in British comic books. Bananaman is a parody of traditional superheroes, being portrayed as a schoolboy who is transformed into a muscled, caped figure when he eats a banana." Apparently they were going to release a movie in 2015. Perhaps they are just waiting for BC to come available for filming!
