Oh my God!
It’s 10:30 pm where I live (alone) and there was just a knock on my door. So I open it about four inches and there’s this youngish guy standing there. He says, “I live next door,” and I say, “yeah,” and he says, “do you want to suck my dick?”
I slammed the door shut and called the police.
I mean, JESUS! Wtf is wrong with people? I’m shaking! I feel violated. This is disgusting. Ew. Now I don’t feel safe.

How awful! I would be shaking, too. If he really does live next door to you, the police shouldn't have any trouble finding him. That idiot is probably thinking that he did ask, and you had the option of saying no, so it's all ok. He's obviously learning his moves from all the stories in the news,

It's good that he's not your neighbour, but that makes him harder for the police to find. What a creep! You're probably not the only one to report him. Try not to let this incident affect you too much.

Thanks. I’ve calmed down now. A little chocolate and a viewing of ASiB fixed me right up. I just don’t understand wandering around, knocking on random doors and saying that! Yuck!

Oh gross! 😧 Why do guys do crap like this?! Feel better! *hugs* 😚
This happened to me once a few years ago. A guy who actually was my neighbor knocked on the door at maybe midnight or so, and tried to get me to come "entertain" him and his friend. I shut the door on his face, but it happened twice more, and all of a sudden he's behind my bathroom window and the story why I just must go with him was getting more and more ridiculous (at one point his friend was "dying on the floor" and needed resuscitation or whatever.) In the end I called the police and told them about the "dying friend" so they arrived with an ambulance. I guess the boys got a bit of a bill for false alarm ambulance!
On the positive side I've NEVER seen a person look as embarrassed as this dude when I bumped into him the next day.

Remember obscene phone callers, back in the day? I guess they can't do this any more since everyone has caller ID, and they've taken to just showing up at people's doors. I hope you're feeling better, QZ.

I don’t know why this shook me up the way it did. Maybe because it was at my own front door and I live alone. You can just hang up a phone and say What an a$$hole, but to be inches away from a perv was really unsettling. I didn’t sleep very well and I can’t stop thinking about it.
I usually have my door open during the day so the cat can come and go as she pleases (which normally involves her meowing to go out constantly, goes out for two seconds, then comes in and sits there looking out the door but gets upset if I shut the door). Today I didn’t even want to open the door! So I forced myself to. I just feel very unsettled and unsafe, which is not normal. I live in a really safe neighborhood. Or maybe I just imagine that to be true.
Thanks for the good thoughts. Maybe I need a Valium, lol.

Sorry to hear what happened QZ. The guy was probably only doing it for some stupid dare but it’s still unsettling & upsetting.
On the practical side - could you get a “cat flap” installed in your door so the cat can come and go without you having to open the door?

The door isn’t right for a cat flap, so that’s not going to work. It’s alright. I’ll get over it. 😃
