That photo was taken at TIFF 2014. I remember it well because that shirt seemed new and I wondered whether he’d gone shopping when he arrived in Toronto. I had seen the photos and videos of him with the scruffy beard, and there was lots of online discussion about a new role he might have been doing that we hadn’t heard about. I was surprised, then, when he showed up clean-shaven at TIG premiere - as you can see from my profile picture.

He looks stunning in that pic. Photographs don’t always do him justice but he really is a very handsome man.

How I wish they used his real beard for Dr. S, instead of the glued-on one that he can't smile or laugh naturally in.
