And it’s only for TV shows A lot of them are up and coming writers with their CV publicly posted online. I imagine there are much more and at least a few should be for films.

What does it mean? They are just investing in the company? Yes. It means they are putting money into the company in exchange for a minority stake in the ownership. That gives the company more funding for projects and Anton get to have input into what gets produced. But BC & AA are still the majority stakeholders.

I found interesting that their two major financiers are French. I wonder if it helps them in some way with the Brexit stuff.

All I remember is that someone asked BC specifically that question one time (back in the early days of the company) and he politely refused to answer (said it had personal significance and it wasn't for public consumption or something to that effect IIRC). So as far as I know it's still unknown why Adam and BC chose that name for their company. I am still very curious as to the origins of that choice too!
